Sumo Sushi 2 is a hidden gem. If you have not been there you must try them out. This family owned and operated restaurant  has been in Las Vegas for 20+ years. I remember eating with my family at their first location in Green Valley (which is no longer there). When I was about 10 years old I remember meeting Jae the owner. Jae prides himself in creating new and exciting dishes with the freshest fish!!! It's crazy how now I'm bring my own little family to this restaurant located in the Southwest (Warmsprings and Durango).

My all-time favorite dishes from Sumo Sushi is the tuna karai, kampachi and the Tiger Salad. If your into deep fried sushi try the Screaming Honey!! I promise you guys won't be disappointed.

They also offer all you can eat and a la carte menus. Another great thing about this restaurant is that they have TVs everywhere so if you're a sports person this sushi spot is for you!

It's been 7 months but I'm happy to say the service is still amazing and the food is delicious! Our hostess/waitress was friendly, attentive and was overall AMAZING!! Best bang for your buck if you're on this side of town!!!

First time eating there. It was recommended by one of our family members that lives in Henderson. Will definitely be going back. The service was unbelievable. Very attentive and helpful. The food was fresh and delicious. Sad that there is not one near my house.

The only reason that this restaurant does not get 5 stars is that their seaweed paper had a very very strong potent taste. A little more than my liking and a lot of rice with the sushi orders.

Mediocre fish but the cooked stuff isnt bad. It's a good price for all you can eat for sure. Just not a good sushi spot. The pork belly was really yummy though! Surprisingly.

We are new to the area and are establishing our new "Go To" listing of restaurants. We decided that during a recent late lunch we'd try Sumo Sushi out.

We were greeted as soon and we entered the restaurant and immediately taken to the bar. The hostess sat us down and took our drink orders - one hot tea and one iced tea.

It was about 20 minutes before the end of the lunch prices and the lunch prices were honored - even after we continued eating into the "dinner" period.

My wife ordered ala carte - gyozas, seaweed salad, miso soup and a veggie roll with cream cheese. She especially liked the gyozas as they were fresh, crispy, and full of flavor.

I, on the other hand, did the All You Can Eat (AYCE) option. I had the Dragon Roll, Rainbow Roll, Unagi Roll, Philadelphia Roll and Touch Down. Yes....I got my monies worth!

I will admit (as I have in most of my sushi reviews) to being a bit of a sushi snob. Having taken many sushi classes and sushi being my "go to" food, I have developed a sense of really good sushi. Sushi starts with the rice. In fact this is 85% of the basis for good sushi. The rice for these rolls did not adhere well to each other and would fall a part more than not. This does not bode well for appearances at a minimum. The saving grace was the flavors. Each roll had a unique taste and enticed the palate. I especially loved the "Touch Down" roll.

My only reason was not giving a higher review was simply the rolls falling a part. It really had an impact on the appearance, and convenience of eating. With as many competitors in the area, this needs to be better.
